In Greece, we have a saying: "If you don't praise your house, it'll fall down on you." This means that if you don't speak well of your own place, it won't thrive. With this in mind, we'll share our top recommendations for activities and places in our area, followed by some general suggestions for exploring the entire island of Paros.

Logaras Beach - Παραλία Λογαράς

One of the top three beaches in Paros (and it's certainly not third on the list) is Golden Beach, true to its name with beautiful golden sand. Located just 1 km from our accommodation, or a 10-minute walk, it's the perfect spot for visitors to unwind with a coffee or a cold beverage. It's also renowned and awarded for windsurfing and other sea sports activities.

Another hidden gem in our area is Drios Beach. It's a small, private, and uncrowded beach without bars or amenities, perfect for families seeking relaxation. Located just 500 meters or a 5-minute walk from our accommodation, you'll need to bring your own beach gear, adding to its charm. Drios Beach stands out for its serene atmosphere and smaller coves, offering a sense of having your own private beach. The calm, tranquility, and gentle sea breeze will help you unwind and enjoy the moment.

Finally, lovely beach near our accommodation is Logaras Beach. It's located next to the charming village of Piso Livadi, making it easy to combine a morning swim with an afternoon coffee and a delicious meal, as the village offers everything you need. Just 3.5 km away from our accommodation, or a 5-minute drive, Logaras Beach boasts clear waters and plenty of beach bars and cafeterias, perfect for enjoying a morning walk along the shore.

Piso Livadi Village - Πίσω Λιβάδι

This village is located near our accommodation, approximately 800 meters away or a 10-minute walk. It's a charming spot worth visiting for a day, featuring a vintage rock bar and restaurants offering both fine dining and traditional Greek cuisine. With a pleasant beachfront, you can enjoy stunning views of the Aegean while savoring coffee or a cold beverage. Drios village also hosts a store where you can purchase souvenirs to remember your trip to Paros, along with a lively square hosting various traditional social activities.

This picturesque village of Paros is located just 7 km or a quick 5-minute drive from our accommodation. Known for its enduring traditional charm, it boasts numerous traditional tavernas alongside modern dining spots for enjoying food and drinks. Its iconic Cycladic architecture and charming narrow alleys are perfect for leisurely afternoon strolls and relaxed evenings, immersing you in the local island experience.

Last but certainly not least, we have one of our favorite villages on the island of Paros: Piso Livadi. It's one of the most beautiful places to stroll, enjoy an evening meal, or have a morning coffee. With its mix of top-tier dining and traditional eateries, Piso Livadi offers stunning views as it sits right by the port. You can literally dine or sip your drink with the waves lapping at your feet, or simply admire the incredible scenery of the port and surrounding mountains.

Restaurants

For Meat Lovers: We recommend "Anna n Giorgos" restaurant in Marpissa for delicious meat dishes.

For Fish Enthusiasts:

"Ouzeri Halaris" in Piso Livadi is a fantastic choice if you don't mind a short drive.

If you prefer to walk, head to the village of Drios where you'll find two great options:

"Markakis," a traditional Greek taverna.
"Kima Restaurant Paros," which offers a gourmet fine dining experience.

For Quick Eats: If you want a quick, high-quality meal, "Souvlaki Drios" is perfect for pita gyros or souvlaki.
Transportation

Bus Service: There is a bus stop next to our accommodation at Golden Beach and another one at Drios village 9 minutes away on foot or approximately 600 metres from out accommodation.Bus schedule link.Be sure to check the schedule, or even ask someone as it changes seasonally.
Vehicle Rentals: If you prefer to rent a vehicle, you're in luck! Just 160 meters from our accommodation is "Xilaras," where you can rent a car, quad, or motorbike.
The best solution for transportation or car rentals is the local company "Diego." They offer rental cars that can be waiting for you at the port or airport, as well as transport services. Since this company is local and does not have an online presence, we are providing their contact details for your convenience.

Monuments
Hidden Gem: Next to our accommodation is a small, old church (Άγιος Ευστάθιος) worth visiting. It's one of the oldest on the island, yet almost nobody knows about it.
Yoga - mindfulness

If you like yoga and meditation, you're in luck! We are neighbors with a wonderful yoga center called "Cinda Yoga Studio."

Bars

We have several bars in our area:

For those who prefer not to venture too far, the "Golden Garden Cocktail Bar" is just 250 meters away, or a 2-minute walk from our accommodation. It offers a chill vibe and a refreshing, tranquil environment, perfect for relaxing.

For people that do not mind to walk a bit further there are two great bars at Drios village.

"The Green Project," located about 800 meters or an 8-minute walk from our accommodation, offers a cool environment with great cocktails and a lively party vibe with friendly people.
Finally, in Drios, there's a vintage rock bar called "Resalto." It boasts an extremely friendly atmosphere and a cool environment, making it a great place to enjoy a drink at night. Relax and feel the refreshing Cyclades breeze in the company of good friends.

Super market

Minirikos Mini Market: This mini market offers basic necessities and is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk (350 meters) from our accommodation.
Annousakis Market: Located in Drios, this larger market specializes in local and high-quality products. Here, you can find everything from vegetables to tobacco and cosmetics.
Sklavenitis Drios: As one of the largest supermarket chains in Greece, "Sklavenitis" has everything you could need. However, it's about a 6-minute drive (4.5 km) from our accommodation, so you'll need a car to get there.
